Whew, creative sprint is right. I'm winded! Glad to have done another TAD, glad too that it's over now. :-) Thanks everyone for sharing your creations. Thanks for looking at mine. Last day, last chance to use my Gocco for TAD! I've been wanting to make some more all-purpose thank you cards for my Etsy shop, and this is what I came up with. I think the Bunting Thanks! is so cheerful, and I printed a bunch in two different colorways on three different cardstocks. Available here:

Here's some scrappy (and slightly wonky) potholders made out of Far Far Away fabric. I'm really liking orange and purple together lately so that's the color combo. Complete with insulated batting on the inside and little hooks for hanging on the back.

One of the projects I definitely wanted to finish for TAD was a case for my nook. I got it last month and I LOVE it; I read on it almost every day. I made the case for my beloved nook out of Circa 50 Organic cotton fabric. I really like the teal, gray and green all together and the cute little birds and other critters!
I made the front of the sleeve with a little pocket so I can read with the nook tucked in while protecting the touchscreen. I also added a fabric covered button and some elastic to close it up top.
This completed sleeve was actually my second try. Originally I was going to make it bigger to fit my booklight, too, but it just wasn't working for me. So instead I turned the larger pouch into a foldover clutch and listed in in my etsy shop!

Working on a project for which I am making some zig zags. So far I've got a ton of triangles cut out. I'm not sure that it's more than you could shake a stick at, but there's a lot of them. And I managed to sew together enough to make one ziggy zaggy stripe. I'm slightly disappointed with the results. Even though I'm being careful, there's just no way I'm gonna get everything lined up perfectly. But all the other triangles are staring me down, daring me to keep sewing. Is it close enough?

Finally the whole crew's together again! I made a few modifications from iotacon's images. Mostly I got rid of Wesley, cause, you know, meh. (Sorry Wil Wheaton.) This keeps it at the main seven characters. (One for each season of the series, if you're counting.) I also lined everyone up facing toward each other with the Captain in the center of it all, just as he should be.
There's so much I love about these little pixel people. Like how Worf's forehead sticks out. And how the girls are shaped. And most of all how, as I made them, I was thinking about my favorite episodes involving each of these characters. I'm not a total dork. I know these people aren't real people. And that they're not my friends. But they
feel like friends.
Still thinking of what to do with this now... maybe I'll put a magnet on the back and stick it somewhere prominent to admire for always.
(OK, maybe I am a total dork.)

Another gift, this one for a hedgehog loving friend doing TAD with me. (You know who you are!) Just a little pouch, with gussets to make it stand up on its own. And for fun, I added a covered button to make one of the little hedgies pop!

This was made for a friend going on a big trip out of the country! She just got her passport but I thought she might like something fun to keep it in, whether she travels by helicopter or not. :-)

I made some of these during last year's thing-a-day, too. This feels like a never-ending project, using the English paper piecing method to hand sew hexagons into flowers and then into a larger quilt top. I have a whole stack of flowers I keep adding to, and I've been putting them together one by one. So I'm making progress, it's just S-L-O-W.

Wanted to get a little pouch sewn, but managed only to cut out all the pieces so far. I guess that's enough for one day!
